Defier are stripes which are thin which mainly stretch from the spine going inward towards the inner sides of the body.
Usually the thicker stripes would be the bigger stripes, or bands, will be at the tail only.

- Does not require Dual Tone to have a slight gradient.
- Imitates stripes of Tigers.

Faded Marking Style

Colouration and interactions with other markings:
- Should be darker than the base coat or use the Charcoal palette.
- Only Reversal can make the blurred underlayer become lighter while the top layer remains darker.
- Creates a blurred underlayer and a soft or hard top layer of stripes.

Things to avoid
- Do not mark the stripes blend into the blended area you created.
- Do not exceed past the hip nor of the Mythikan but it can stretch down the back legs, but follow the natural direction of the stripes. The stripes on the leg can not be straight down and must follow at an angle down the leg getting more horizontal the further it gets down the leg.

Regal Defier Marking style

- Can only be used if you have an NPCSSA alpha in your pup's bloodline AND if you have no other spinal markings.
- Creates 'arrows' over the back of the body.
- Can only be lighter than the base coat or you can use the Pearl palette.
