This marking imitates the natural like markings which you can find on most mammals - dogs, ferrets, rabbits, etc.. This creates the 'burnt' like marking over the body and can create some unique designs to the body, despite having other markings present. This is completely up to you on design ideas but as mentioned, it should be a clearly visible area and should be a really dark shade of your base coat which layers under the majority of markings, unless stated below.
This should always be blurred, whether it has soft edges or full blur, it's entirely up to you. There is no marking restrictments for this in the imports, as it can appear anywhere over the body. We have made some examples below to give you some ideas what can be done, followed by some specific markings which you would need to follow should this marking be together with said markings.

Things to avoid
- Do not make the markings look too much unique, these must be natural like markings.
- Avoid putting too small areas of sable on the body. This should be clear for our admins to recognise the marking easily.
- If you are using Masked, you will need to select a completely different colour for the markings to clearly be distinguishable between the two.
Sable with Dual Tone / Spectural Marking Style
Dual tone and Spectral can only affect a marking if the these are the only markings in the genetics of your pup. Else they would not be able to affect your pup's sable at all. Dual Tone would make lighter tones (almost white) appear as well as the darker tones. Spectral would just make these areas be another colour than your base coat ranges allow. The only exception would be if Reversal would be in your genetics, which would allow you to us lighter tones (must be almost white) instead of darker tones
Sable with Tabby / Defier markings
When Sable and Tabby or Defier is present, these markings should fall on top of Sable naturally, however you can blend them into one and use the same colour for both markings to make it look similar to some of the examples we have done below.[Examples]
