Blanket is a marking which covers the majority of the back and hind areas of the body, creating different types of Marking styles for you to choose from. This marking is known to add more simple, uniqueness and natural looks to your Mythikan, however there are more restrictions on what you can do with the fancier styles when other markings come into play with this marking. You will always find that this marking should be hard edged and never any other texture, layering above all apart from Accents, Void, Calico and Snowstom.
You can only choose only one of these styles and must state which style you have used. Be aware that if the parents have a selected style, you do not have to follow that same style of design.
Simple and Clean Marking Style
Texture:

Marking Restrictions:

Colouration and interaction with other Markings:
- Always be 1 layer of a darker shade - Dual tone will only affect having gradient or multitoned,
- Natural like marking.
- This can be done in sections, does not have to be connecting all across the back.
- If you do sections, they must be the same colour.
- If Dual Tone is effecting the sections, you will only be allowed to make a clear gradient and you will not be able to have sections in different colours.
- Clear indications where the markings start and finishes.

Things to avoid:
- If your design looks too patchy or unnatural looking marking, there is a strong chance your design would be declined.
- Avoid using multiple colours or applying any gradients (except if you have Dual Tone)
- Should not contain any holes.

Avian Marking Style
Texture:

Marking Restrictions:

Colourations and interactions with other markings:
- Creates more 'feather / wing' like markings on the edge of common markings except Sable.
- Must take the colour of the marking it is edging onto.
- If you have 3 markings of only common rarity, you can use this marking style.
- Only Sphynx Builds can have soft edge textures.

Things to avoid:
- This marking should not have any broken areas, it must create a 'finished' touch to the common markings.
- Will not work with any other Uncommon, Rare or Unique Markings.
- The only exception from this will be if Dual Tone or Spectral is affecting the marking which this is attached to.
- This marking style can only be used if your pup's genetics has minimum of 3 markings, excluding Blanket.

Texture:
Marking Restrictions:

Colouration and interaction with other Markings:
- Imitates the wolverine animal markings.
- Will always be the chrome colours.
- Must match your base coat colour, can not use polar opposites of your base colours.
- You can use any of the colours if you have Midnight base coat colours.
- If you have Sphynx buiuld, the stripe should have slightly blurred edges.
- No marking should appear within this area.
- Void is the only marking will appear 'above' the marking.
Things to avoid:
- Using colours which do not match your base colour at all.

Blanket with Merle
When merging blanket with Merle, blanket will set under merle, creating a different colour base for the merle markings. It would also prevent the merle from spreading outside of the blanket area you have set.
You can decide to have the Merle affect outside of the blanket area, but keep in mind that blanket would need to be visible with one big area filled in whilst with merle spreading around the edges. To have this option though, Merle will become only one colour and must be the same colour your chosen for blanket.
