Mythikans level up through Life Points, otherwise known as LP, which you can earn through doing artwork and literature, or you can combine the two together to earn more points but the writing must be related to what is happening in the image. Mythikans can be raised by handlers, which are known as companions, or you can have them raised in the wild by their parents or by the starters. This choice is completely up to you and it does not affect anything in the game, only if a companion that has bonded to a Mythikan will give you an upper hand.
Do i need to fill anything out in the description of my literature or artwork?
It is not essential, however you will make the admins job and work a lot faster with your work if you do put this on your trackers (check how to set up LP trackers for more information on this) when trying to record each image or literature:

Ranking and Levels
What are Ranks and Levels? Ranks are what determines your Mythikan's rank level to partake in certain areas of the game. Some areas of the game you will need to be certain ranks or above else you will not be allowed to enter, if you do try to enter one that is not of rank, there can be fatal consequences to the Mythikan that you will then need to do other things to bring your Mythikan back to health or revive your Mythikan. Levels are the different stages that you can go through each rank gaining so many breeding slots. You can see below with the chart how many levels there are within each rank, how much LP you need in order for you to be that level or rank. How do we get our Mythikan's to rank up? You will need to go through the levels and once you hit the lowest level within the rank, you will automatically get your new rank. If you think you have enough points to level up or rank up, you will need to head over to the Admin Approvals and scroll down to were it says 'Genetics Admin' and you will be redirected to a link for you to get your Mythikans to Level up and Rank up.
Please be aware that the LP stated on the levels below is the minimum amount you are required to have to level your Mythikan up to the next rank!
Ranks at birth? Every pup that gets born will be born as Runt rank, however there will be the occasional time when if two alpha rank Mythikans breed, the pups may be born as the lowest leveled Omega Rank. You will always need to start at the lowest level of your rank given, so say if your pup starts at Runt Rank, you will need to start at level 0, if you start at Omega Rank, you will need to start at level 5.
What is the rank order? The order of ranks goes like this:
Runt Rank ---------> Omega Rank --------> Beta Rank -----------> Alpha Rank
Runt Rank
Level 0 ----> Given at birth
Level 1 -----> 75 Life Points
Level 2 ----> 150 Life Points

Explanation & Allowances for Life Points
Shading Information
Shading must be clearly shown on the characters without the need of zooming in or eye squinting.
There are 4 different ways to shading, Soft shading, Cel Shading, Mixed Shading and Realism Shading.
We have given the basic examples of each one below to assist you knowing what is acceptable for each one.
If you struggle to know which one to use, we strongly suggest you to ask in our discord server, especially Realism Shading.
Soft Shading
Soft shading is when there is no sharp edges to the shading layer. This can also include when the shading layer is strongly shown similarly to what cel shading looks like, but just the edge of the shading layer is blurred.
Cel Shading
Cel Shading is when there are no blended parts to the shading layer. It is all hard edged nor does, nor does it have a layer of shading underneath or above the hard edged shading. It is all one colour shaded.
Mixed Shading
Mixed shading is a challenging shading to do, however it is possible to do. There are two ways of doing this shading technique. One is to have both soft shading and cel shading on the character, whilst the other way is to have the cel shading, but do soft shading within this cel shaded layer. However, they must be clearly shown on the characters and doesn't involve eye squinting nor zooming in to see its mixed shading
Realism Shading
Realism gives the characters a more realistically painted look. These will add textures to make it look like real fur, skin, scales, etc.
Should you use a background, this would also need to look somewhat realistic as well, but this does not mean it is only applicable to skill level, it just needs to resemble an environment with heavy texture on it.
How to tell the % of the body
We understand that trying to know how much of the body gets covered, so hopefully this little guide will help you. We always base this off from the Mythikans are alive and can be created as a 3D model. With each creature, we consider each species within Mythika to have thier own set amount of features.
We will list you some of the features in 2 parts. One would be the full features that gives the majority amount of % to the body, as well as the bonus features that add up on small things. Be aware that mane types do not count towards the % of the body.
This is a list for the majority features to the body.
- Face
- Neck
- Shoulders
- Front arms
- Paws
- Rib Cage
- Abdomen and Hips
- Hind Legs
- Tail
- Wings
This is a list of bonus features that you can add towards the % of the body. Note that these are only bonus', they do push the % of the body up a little but not much.
- Physical Traits
- Equippables (Tack, Armor, Weapons, etc)
- Mouth
- Ears
- Extra Limbs
If you have missing limbs due to Zombified Mutation or other causes, you will need to work based on how much of that Mythikan is visible. Once you have drawn these sections, you will need to guess how much of the body is covered. If you struggle to tell how much this covers, you can make a guess and our admins will help you out when they check your LP to rank up your levels/ranks or you can make a help ticket in our discord.
